| Nominal Pressure |
The pressure which is given to the cylinder in order to assure the convenience of naming. It does not match the working pressure (rated pressure) which guarantees performance under the condition which is decided. |
| Maximum Allowable Pressure |
The maximum allowable pressure (surge pressure etc.) which occurs in the interior of a cylinder. |
| Proof Pressure |
A test pressure which must withstand without bringing the decrease of performance of cylinder when returning to nominal pressure. |
| Minimum Working Pressure |
The lowest pressure where the cylinder is installed horizontally with no load operates. |
